THE CZECH RADIO CHAMBER CHOIR
The Czech Radio Chamber Choir lead by his founder Stepan Britvik, is full part of the "Czech Radio Choir".
Renowned for the diversity of his repertory and the excellency of his interpretations, he is invited to perform at the Santa Cecilia Academy of Rome, at the Chorégies d’Orange. He interprets in world premiere the Haig Vartan "Requiem" with the participation of the Prague Philharmonic in Geneva (Victoria Hall) and in Zurich (Tonhalle). Invited by the Dresden Philharmonic Orchestra he wins a large success in the "Alexandre Nevski Cantata".
The Czech Radio Chamber Choir is invited to participate at the Verbier Festival for the interpretation of Gustav Mahler Symphony n°2 under J.Levin. In Germany, at the Schwabisch Gmund European Festival of Sacred Music his interpretation of the contemporary piece written for choir by Petr Eben "Es Werde Licht" was a world premiere that made sensation .
Other invitations follow, from France (Opéra de saint-Etienne, Opéra de Rouen), to Palermo for Carmina Burana under R.Fruhbeck of Burgos, from Prague Autumn Festival for the" Sacred Cantata "Davide penitente" with the Salzburg Philarmonic Chamber Choir ,to Hamburg in Chostakovitch 13th Symphony "Babi Yar" with the Hamburg Symphonic Orchestra.
